An oasis of calm within a few minute’s walk to the Marina area of Dingle town. Every effort has been made to ensure that guests get the very best Dingle has to offer and the house is designed to make utmost advantage of the fabulous views of Dingle Bay. Timeless antique pieces and a stunning art collection make Castlewood House a feast for the senses.

Its drawing room overlooks Dingle Bay where one can sit and relax and just watch the world go by. The room has an elegant marble fireplace and comfy sofa’s to enjoy a glass of wine or Afternoon Tea by the fire. One can enjoy complimentary tea/coffee along with homemade cakes and biscuits which are available throughout the day. The room has a library of books, travel guides, style magazines, board games and jigsaws for your enjoyment.

At Castlewood each bedroom is designed for comfort, and themed with furnishings and fabrics, each room equipped with modern amenities one would expect .
All bedrooms are individually styled with no two rooms alike, from classical mahogany to French chic, to plantation style and shades of the East in our Silk Route room.
Guests can have free parking on site and complimentary wireless internet access.

A small selection of antiques and collectables for sale can be found at the Collectors Corner or one can take a small piece of Dingle home with works of art by Irene Woods which are on permanent Exhibition at Castlewood House.

Everything is prepared by Brian and Helen at the Castlewood Kitchen and produce is locally sourced on the Dingle Peninsula where possible. Breakfast is a relaxing affair where one can choose from an extensive buffet.
