Absolut Vodka Limited Edition London Bottle by Jamie Hewlett


Absolut Vodka Limited Edition London Bottle
Collaboration between one of the UK’s leading graphic artists, Jamie Hewlett.  and Absolut London resulted in this limited edition vodka london bottle that celebrates the vibrant cultural city, capturing London’s creativity and rich style heritage in a unique design which goes on sale in Selfridges and Harvey Nichols on March 1.

Set against a familiar London backdrop, featuring iconic buildings such as St Paul’s Cathedral and the Gherkin, the illustration features seven characters, including the 18th century dandy, the pinstripe gent, 60s chick, punk and 80s casual.

London has such a fascinating and rich history which has inspired me over the years. For ABSOLUT London I chose to re-create seven iconic characters from different eras who are largely defined by their style as well as their impactful contribution to London’s culture at the time, Jamie Hewlett explains.

On sale at Selfridges and Harvey Nichols, London from the 1st of March onwards, each of the 49 bottles is priced at £21 ($35).

Absolut Gustafson – Limited Edition Vodka Exclusively for Travelers

Created in cooperation with  Mats Gustafson, famous fashion artist and illustrator, this new flavor vodka is exclusively for global travelers, global duty free and travel retail markets.

The Absolut Gustafson Vodka is rich in flavors of sun-ripe cherries, freshly sliced strawberries and essences of cardamom and chai. The bottle design features a dramatic green and bright pink horizon, painted with his characteristic, masterfully light-handed, super-sensitive and sensual brush strokes.

The pink represents the berries, the green the cardamon and the more earthy qualities. The final artwork combines these two color blocks and, for me, they translate into the earth and the sky. The horizon is a great metaphor for traveling, for looking far and beyond says Gustafson.

The Absolut Gustafson launch will be backed by a powerful 360-degree marketing campaign in all available media, including unique brand installations in key duty free/travel retail market arenas. The campaign will also feature an exclusive collaboration between star mixologist Andrés Leon Basile and master chef Marco Baudone of Le Rouge restaurant in Stockholm.

Belvedere Vodka pays homage to the famous silver birch trees emblematic of the brand by launching the special edition of their Belvedere Pure, packaged in a metallic Buche de Noel for Christmas 2011.

This Buche de Belvedere Vodka has an engraved silver chromed metal sleeve embossed with a holly leaf which slides over a real birch log hollowed out to hold a 70cl bottle of their rare premium vodka.  Presented on a sleek clear acrylic base, the hollowed out log can serve as an ice holder when the bottle is removed.

Buche de Belvedere Vodka stylized with the inseparable holly leaf is limited to 25 pieces.
