Hennessy Beauté du Siècle cognac
Luxury goods group LVMH Moët Hennessy–Louis Vuitton's wine and spirits division Moët Hennessy has launched its new limited-edition Hennessy Beauté du Siècle cognac with Schiphol Airport Retail (SAR) at Amsterdam Schiphol airport. The cognac marks the centenary of Kilian Hennessy, the sixth generation after the founder of the cognac house, and is exhibited exclusively at the new Finest Spirits and Cigars store in departure lounge three after passport control.
According to SAR, Beauté du Siècle is a contemporary interpretation of a traditional liqueur chest containing a carafe of cognac, created by master blender and taster Yann Fillious and more than 10 artists and craftsmen.

Valued at €150,000 ($190,063) excluding VAT, the carafe of cognac is a blend of around 100 specially selected eaux-de-vie, the oldest of which dating back to 1907. The cognac is presented in a Baccarat crystal decanter in the form of sample flasks used by the House of Hennessy.

Moet & Chandon 1911 Grand Vintage Collection

Moet & Chandon 1911 Grand Vintage
Price : $101,500
Harrods has released just 11 six-bottle cases of the 100-year-old wine, disgorged last January, with each being offered to a different market around the world. One of the cases was auctioned at a gala dinner in Shanghai in September, raising $100,000 for charity.

Since 1743, Moet & Chandon have impressed sommeliers with their various new offerings, often presenting them in special edition versions, to cash in their novelty value. In recent times, after creating special editions like the Golden Jeroboam, and the Ice Imperial, this 1911 Grand Vintage collection joins the lot as one of the premier offerings.
Moet & Chandon coffret
Wine critic Tom Stevenson, said: Tasting this outstanding wine was an enormous privilege. “Although a Champagne of this age would usually be a copper brown, Grand Vintage Collection 1911 is a beautiful pale yellow gold. The nose is still floral and fruity and after a century, it’s still bubbly on the palate! Grand Vintage Collection 1911 is a superb vintage champagne, both elegantly mature and deliciously lively.

The Moet & Chandon coffret contains 6 bottles presented in custom black leather chest with elegant brass fittings; perfect for gift giving, drinking and keeping this century-old treasure from the legendary champagne house.
