2012 McLaren MP4-12C by Wheelsandmore

McLaren MP4-12C
The McLaren MP4-12C  , dubbed 'Toxique Evil,'  is the latest tuning kit from the makers of Ferrari 599 GTO, the popular Wheelsandmore.

The car runs a 3.8-liter V8 bi-turbo engine with optimized control electronics and added a handcrafted exhaust system with remote-able exhaust valves. As a result of which, its output increased from 600hp and 443lb-ft of torque to 666hp  and 472lb-ft of torque at present. However, the tuning experts are currently working on a turbo and intercooler upgrade inorder to increase the output to a staggering 800hp, one hell of tuning

The McLaren's steering and overall handling has been improved by lowering the supercar's PCC complex electronic hydraulic suspension system by 25mm. A Trim-Line-Design stripe styles the exterior running along the length of the car and it houses a new set of 20- and 21-inch ultralight-forged alloys wrapped in Continental Sport Contact 5P tires.

Pininfarina Cambiano Concept

Pininfarina Cambiano Concept
The Pininfarina's Cambiano concept car is both a coupe and a sports sedan and has one large door and opted for a suicide door solution and also eliminated the center pillar to afford better entry and exit to all seating positions.

The sleek design of the exterior, which was inspired by Pininfarina's 1957 Lancia Florida II, is matched by a minimalistic interior with seating for four, while other highlights include the glass roof and wood trimmed floors.

The GT model measures a little over five meters in length (196.9-in.) and 2 meters in width (78.7-in.), while it tips the scales at 1,700kg (3,748 pounds). It is a range extended electric vehicle with power coming from four 60kw (80hp) electric motors, one for each wheel. A diesel turbine engine located up front works like a generator to recharge the batteries.

According to Pininfarina, the Cambiano accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 4.2 seconds and can reach a top speed of 275km/h (186mph). It's batteries offer a driving range in excess of 200km.

Students Design an All-Electric Lincoln Continental for 2025

 All-Electric Lincoln Continental
At the 2012 Detroit Auto , Lincoln put on display the MKZ Concept to preview both the looks of its soon to be launched mid-size sedan as well the brand's new styling direction.

But FoMoCo isn't the only one to present a design concept for a future Lincoln as the Lawrence Tech University had its own proposal in the form of a quarter-scale model for a pure-electric Continental for 2025.

The study for a luxury sedan model is the work of Lawrence Tech students Colin Bonathan and Jeeho Cha and it was endorsed by the Ford Motor Company.

It all started in the summer of 2011 when Bonathan and Cha came up with plans for a Lincoln concept as part of their undergraduate degree program in transportation design. The university said that Ford officials liked the concept so much that they commissioned the quarter-scale model for display at the Detroit event.

Bonathan, who was responsible for the exterior design, says that he began by choosing the desired wheelbase length and then placed the occupants, the electrical system and other components in the Continental study before finalizing the design.

His partner Cha created the interior of the Lincoln concept model. It was his first take on designing the cabin of an automobile. "I like doing interiors more now. It’s not just one form, but several forms that have to be designed in a cohesive way. There are more problems to solve,” said Cha.

Deus painted the Kawasaki W650-based French Connection bike with an orange, white, and black paint finish. The tuning firm also dressed up the rims and hubs in a black satin film while fitting in a vintage style headlight that supports the tachometer.
Deus also tweaked the bike’s performance set-up, working around its 649cc engine and putting new K&N filters and a custom 2-into-2 system. The company also modified the forks before dressing up the front and rear guards in a pair of Firestone tires.
