| Gran Marlin 46 Luxury Yacht |
KFS (KeyFrameStudio) an Italian yacht design firm popularly Known for watercrafts like the K60 Anaconda and MAS 36, recently unveiled their latest project, the Gran Marlin 46.
The Gran Marlin 46 features an interior designed for comfort and privacy. A large proportion of the yacht is dedicated to the owners cabin, which is connected to the rest of the vessel through a private studio. The huge full-beam cabin is acoustically isolated from the rest of the yacht thanks to the service areas which surround it.
The KFS Gran Marlin 46 is a 46 metre (151 foot) vessel with a hull designed for comfort and ocean-crossing capabilities, powered by a 1,800 horsepower Caterpillar C32 Acert engine an d sails at a cruising speed of 15 knots.
The technical areas located on the lower deck, have been engineered to improve the comfort and livability of the owners and passengers. By moving the tender garage to a more central area, the stern area has been freed up to allow for a separate room with direct access to the rear sea platform.
The KFS Gran Marlin 46 won the first prize in the 2012 MYDA 2012 international yacht design competition.
