Mission One Electric Bike by Mission Motors

MISSION ONE ELECTRIC BIKE
Designed by FuseProject for Mission Motors, the Mission One Premier Limited Edition (PLE) is the fist electric superbike able to power wheelies at 70mph (112km/h).

The challenge was to create a design that would be accepted by motorcycle enthusiasts while also being immediately recognizable as a vehicle fueled by alternative energy. Ultimately, the bike needed to balance innovation with tradition, overcome the stigma of a silent ride and define what an electric Bike should look like.

Powered by 100kW (136 horsepower) AC Induction motor that peaks 120 ft/lbs of torque,  Mission One tops its speed at 161 mph (259km/h) and takes  2 hours charge on 240-volt outlets for 150-mile range.

With a fully equipped data acquisition system and wireless communication capability, the rider captures real time ride data to adjust throttle maps, tune regenerative braking and ride settings, all from a laptop computer.
It features a fully adjustable Ohlins suspension, Brembo brakes, Marchesini wheels  and a battery pack  enclosed in a lightweight steel trellis structure, covered by honeycomb textured skins

There is literally nothing on the street with a sparkplug to light the fire that will out-accelerate the Mission One…”– Alan Cathcart, motorcycle journalist
